Clean and wash thechicken thoroughly
Remove the skin fromthe chicken
Make cuts on thechicken with a sharp knife
Mix the ingredientsof the first marinade and apply to chicken
Coat the chickenthoroughly and keep aside for one hour
Prepare the second marinadeby mixing all the ingredients
Keep the chicken inthe refrigerator for approximately 5 hours or overnight
Take out the chickenfrom the refrigerator 45 minutes before cooking
Use a skewer to fixthe chicken, preheat the chicken, and roast it at 180 degrees.
You can also make iton the grill, tandoor, or air fryer if you don't have the oven
Roast the chicken in the oven for 45minutes
Baste the chickenwith refined oil after 5 minutes of placement
Check it after 45 minutes if done
You can cook it for afew more minutes if the chicken is not cooked perfectly
Don't overcook thechicken or it may become hard and dry
Place the tandoorichicken in the serving dish
Heat charcoal andplace it in the dish kept on a steel bowl
Add a bit of oil oncharcoal and immediately cover the lid
Rest it for 10 minutes
Remove the charcoal
Garnish the chickenwith onion rings and lime wedges
Delicious tandoorichicken is ready to serve
